Blown MOtor

it was about 4am on my way home from Club MEga when my Motor Blew about a mile away from home....Engine Fucked up (pistons..Timing belt broke...ANd many more shit) HAd it towed...home.....then next day i had it towed to a shop.....this that works there...inspected the motor and he told me "that shit is GONE bro" So i had him order a new motor for me......3 days later...he called me in to pick up my car...

the new motor didn't pull that Hard...it was only boosting 10-12 pounds and my blow off isn't taht loud any more and u can't even hear it on the freeway in 5th or 4th gear (GREDDy TYpe S Bov)

my old Motor was Boosting like 17-18 pounds it pulled hella HARd too like freaken 10 times harder then the new motor + my it blows off hella loud too even on the freeway... :(

waht is the stock PSI for eclipses?

y my bov is not blowing off as loud as before...may b because its only boosting 10psi?

11ps.. are you drunk? turn your boost back up. and buy a data logger.

stock boost is 15psi... and the reason for the BOV being so quiet has to do with the psi you are pushing! crank it back up to 18psi and your car will pull a lot harder and your BOV will sound louder!

if you got a new motor you should take it easy for a couple hundred miles to break in the engine also keep an eye on your fluid levels cuz it may use some oil for awhile
