O.K. so thanks for the info everyone. heres a new ? if i bolt on a new big thrwttle body, air flow sensor, and a bigger air lid will it fit under my stock hood? will i gain much power? it sounds like im better off going with all new echaust first. Ismoked some young punks on the hiway driving a stock mustang, it was fun. I also dusted a jaguaralbeit a xj6. love my t/a wish i could put thousands into her.

Just get a lid and a good catback/cutout. screw the MAF and TB. The stock Tb is 72mm..which is more then big enough. a lot of guys who are pushing 400+rwhp are still using the stock TB...including me. The MAF, for the price, you can put it towards headers/ypipe which will give you more power then the MAF will. Again, I'm still using a stock MAF and I'm pushing more then 400rwhp(heck, probably damn close to 500mark)...so, you decide....MAF for 5-7rwhp or Long Tubes/ypipe for 15-20rwhp. Youd decide.
