97 rs cutoff??

hit 118 in the camaro this morning, and then the fuel stopped. is this supposed to happen?

my RS cuts off around 115, havent tried in the IROC yet, but i do believe that the base model camaros have fuel cutoffs. but dont have anything to back that up.

Yup, 3800's fuel cutoff is exactly 118, instead of a nice round 115 or 120.

so there is no way to go any faster that 118?

reprogram the computer

get yourself some z rated tires before you reprogram that ecu. it cuts out at 118 cause after that the tires give out and its real nasty getting a flat tire at a buck twenty...
