What is the code from, powertrain, body, network? If you have good fuel line pressure and spark then the only other thing you need is compression. Ican find the code for you if it is OBD II, from the Ford Tech web site. Or my manuals at work.

After you've turned it over a few revs, remove a plug and see if it is wet. If it is not then you are probably not getting fuel into the cylinder. Guess I'd suspect the injectors in some way. Not sure what you have to do to check them but I'd think there should be voltage to them while turning the engine over. Maybe intermittent voltage but voltage none the less. Have never had injector problems so would be interesting to know what is the proper way to check them. If you're getting fire to the plugs as you indicated she should make some kind of comotion if fuel is present.

yes have already pulled all the plugs and where wet with fuel, the engine has been turned over alot of times done had to recharge the battery 6 times are the bearings going to be oaky if i keep this up? iv tyrid stuffing a soked rag full of gas into the intake, and didnt make any diffrents, still nothing

If your plugs are wet then your plugs are not firing. Could be flooded if you pouring raw fuel into the intake. Take a plug out and lay it on the block (has to be metal to metal) with the plug wire still attached and see if there is fire out of the plug while someone turns the engine over via the ignition switch. Dry it off first as best you can, match, lighter, hair dryer. If there is no fire then you have problems with coil or distributor or something of that nature. Could be plugs but don't think all would go at once.

are the bearings going to be oaky if i keep this up?
The bearings will be fine - the oil pump is also turning when you crank the motor.
On new rebuilds, I prime the oil system by cranking the engine over (while the fuel pump is disconnected) until the Oil light goes out.
It sounds to me like you have no spark. If the plugs are wet, you should at least get a backfire (due to bad timing) while cranking it over. If the engine gets loaded with gas, a spark at any time would flash off the vapors, sooner or later.

Well sir, you've got all the makins of a running vehicle. I guess my thoughts now are that maybe the cam is not turning? Can you lift the front valve cover and see if the valves are doing their little up and down thing? Starting to get interesting. Sorry about that "shocking" experience. I guess I just thought you knew not to hold the darned things while testing. Some folks get huffy if you give them to much info. Hurts their pride I guess.

Had similar problem with my Ranger a year ago...does this vehicle have a distributor? My distributor gear was badly worn!! It would occassionally engage enough for me to believe that the plugs were working o.k., but the timing was so screwed up that it would never have fired when it needed to. Gear cost me $17.00 and two hours to fix. Dealer wanted $140.00 for a new distributor. Everything else on the engine was working perfectly and this really had me pulling my hair our.
Regarding your bearings! Cranking the engine will allow raw fuel to enter the cylinder and be compressed past the rings to the oil pan, thinning the oil. Second problem, gear pumps only build a fraction of the pressure at low RPM as they do at higher RPM. So that gasoline thinned oil you are pumping at low rpm might be good enough to save your lower engine bearings from wear, but keep it up and you WILL be replacing a cam shaft and lifters...wanna bet! I did and I have the orignial camshaft from my '74 Vette on the wall in my garage to show you. Car has 66,000 original miles and I cried like a baby......Drain the oil and see if it has been thinned by gas before you go any further....

Look at the grounding cables that grounds to the car itself. I had a bad connection on mine. Took out the plug, crimped the wires together and runs great now.
Also try to keep a hammer inside your car, incase your starter acts up, tap it with the hammer and have someone try to crank 'er up.
