Someone recently broke into my 95 Eclipse. When I went to my car in the morning the alarm didnt work when i tried to disarm, and i noticed 2 wires hanging out from the front of my car (one black and one white--obviously had been ripped out). The battery terminal was also ripped out and the cylinder on my door knocked in. I was able to fix the door and replace the battery, but the alarm still doesn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Take it to the place you got it installed. most alarms have a warranty that protects you from theft up to $3000 if the alarm didn't do its job, like go off when it should. I haven’t dove to far into that stuff because every company I know of requires a certified alarm technician to install the alarm to certify it’s installed correctly so the warranty and theft protection package doest go void.

Not all companies give you a warranty. The only ones I know of off hand are DEI ones like Viper, Python, Clifford. Besides, even the highest dollar unit won't work if the theives cut out the battery. No juice, no noise. I suggest getting a back-up battery for the alarm brain and also a backup battery siren. At least for little $$, you'll have it to where they can not disarm it!
