Data Device Plug ins (like cigarette lighter)

Our data plungins for our ac adapters for charging a cell phone or using a laptop, etc. are no longer giving any power but the cigarrette lighter is still working and giving power. I have checked fuses and fuses are fine. Fuses though cover all of the outlets, cig.lighter & other outlets, on one fuse. What would cause the two data plugins to not work while cig.lighter works fine? These are the plugings that sit to below the glove box to the right of the lighter and to the left of the passenger on the 98 chevy s10 blazer.

Does anyone have any suggestions on these auxillary cig. lighters? I am a novice when it comes to mechanics and would appreciate any guidance I can get. Please HELP!

I think the two power outlets on the 98 Blazer have their own fuse. My wife is gone to work in my Blazer right now, or I'd look and see for sure. I'll post again later after I see for sure...

Yep, they are on fuse 13 - a 20-amp fuse (labelled AUX Power)- found in the driver's side interior fuse panel (the one that gets covered up on the dash when you close the driver's door).

If it's a fuse problem, wouldn't the cig. lighter & the 2 accessory jacks both not work? The cig. lighter works fine but the accessory jacks are what do not work.

The auxillary power outlets are on their own fuse. The cigarette lighter has its own fuse inside the car in the instrument panel fuse box as well. So, if the power outlet fuse (Aux Power - a 20-amp fuse labelled #13 on my 98 Blazer) blows, the rest still works fine. You wouldn't believe how many crappy 12V devices there are that can short out your power outlets, so they are wisely protected on their own circuit. If it's not the fuse, you can try seeing if the wires are attached and not burned or broken from the auxillary power outlets.
