i was wondering if it is hard to install an Apexi ni cat-back onto a 96 240sx. does it fit right into the stock brackets and all? and does the motor have to be taken out to put in aftermarket headers? thanks for the help.

yeah jeez what does this look like the 3000GT forum :grinno:
it probably fits onto all the stock brackets. make sure you let it cool down before you do it, and spraying the bolts with a ton of WD40 doesnt hurt.

The headers will probably be a little tough, mine were on my s13, but it is all straight forward. Exhaust took me 20 minutes by myself. Apexi N1. Buy a small can of Kano Kroil. That stuff is amazing on tough bolts, especially the exhaust studs on the head and exhaust flange bolts.

Where do you live? I put my HKS exhaust on a few weeks ago. I ended up having to take the whole exhaust off at the header and cut the old, rusted bolts off with a die grinder. Then I had to redrill the flanges and put new bolts in. If the nuts aren't rusted to the flange, it should be smooth sailing though.
