I want my car to be a little faster so I was planning to put the following on it: AEM short ram intake, DC Sports Stainless Steel header, AEM adjustable cam gears, DC Sports exhaust, NGK spark plug wires, Iridium spark plugs, anda fuel regulator :bandit:.

However, I had that once you start to put aftermarket parts on a car, you start getting yourself into mechanical problems:(. ANd I don't want that. I think it has something to do with the computer or something else, but you start getting a lot of problems such as the check engine light coming on. Is that true? And if so, what could I do to overcome the problems?

you shouldn't run into any problems at all, those parts help you can to perform better. Now when you install 'em you need to re-set your ecu, I can't specificaly tell you how to do that for you car. I know disconecting the batery for a few minutes will work but I think theres a memory chip/fuse that you have to pull also.
If you car is leased those parts will be a problem 'cause if theres ever a problem and you take it in they like to blame it on the aftermarket parts or acuse you of driving it to hard. Hope this helps

It all looks good except for the fuel regulator. With those modifications, the stock regulator/ECU should be able to keep up with your fuel requirements just fine. Adding an AFPR won't net you anything and may make it hard to tune correctly.

The parts themselves dont cause mechanical problems, its the driver who abuses the car. Theres a reason why my transmission whent out after 30,000 miles.

If that's a picture of your car I can see why you had transmission problems! ;)
