shift kit( is this ok

ok i got bm shift kit and i want ot get it installed. the last time i got motor tuned up they did there lil inspection and siad that it would not be a good idea to change tranny fluid, cuz it was kinda clumpy or whatever. so when i get the shift kit installed will they have to put new fluid n?? and if so could that make my tranny go? aight thanks all

Replace the tranny fluid and filter... With a high miledge tranny, some of the particles actually keep the clutches going, but just changes the base stuff is reccomended at any miledge... After you install the shift kit do a change every 20-30k... While they have it apart you should also have them install a 3/4 kick down

what exactly is 3/4 kick down????
