I am new here

I have been lurking for the past week or so and I signed up the other day. I build mostly Muscle cars and now I am interested in building some imports. So I will probably still lurk and most likely ask some stupid questions concerning import cars. Coming from Detroit there isn't much of an interest for imports. Well after lurking here and looking around at what has been built I am in love with the Nissan Skyline, and a few others. So bear with me and my crazy questions. I am getting ready to start a Nissan 350 Z so if I can get some pics I will post them. Thanks for having me.

Welcome Scamp! The Tamiya 350Z is a great kit to start with and looks great when completed. If you jump over to the completed and in progress board and do a search for 350Z or Skyline, you'll see fine examples of either car. Looking forward to seeing your cars.

I'm working on the Tamiya Z as we speak. It's truly an amazing kit. The detail is incredible. The instructions are a little difficult, seeing they are in Japanese, but includes a color guide for the parts. By the way, I'll get some pics up of the almost finished interior.

Welcome to AF, 2 other good Tamiya kit's to get are the Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, It has a engine and is very easy to assemble. Another is the Toyota Supra, It also has an engine and is one of the easyiest kit's I've ever built.

Thanks for the welcome I am happy to be here. I ordered the R32 Yesterday so it will be here soon. I started my first import the Fujimi 300Z not a bad looking kit for a curbside. It is also my first import that I have ever built. So far I got it ready to prime and paint. Color will be Duplicolor Med Grey Metallic.
