Little history:
On a Chevy 350 pre-1987.
Need to replace intake in order to have working EGR.
Egr works and everything.
I notice these ports/area is plugged.
Question:Should I remove that stuff out in order for the EGR to work ?
Intake EGR Plugged ? (http://home.comcast.net/~gschretter/INdex.htm)
Thanks in advance.

Great picture!
Yea, just clean out all that built up carbon from the passages and you will be good to go.

Thanks.
What is weird is it is not carbon but looks like that cold weld stuff.
I guess the previous owner of the intake plugged it up.
I guess he thought he would get more HP.
Maybe true for more hp but I need the EGR to help cool it down even if it is a little.
Thanks for the help.
