i own a 2000 prelude with a usdm h22a engine. my car has a jackson supercharger @ 6 lbs of boost. i want to swap to a jdm engine. what kind of engine would fit in. i am looking for the one with the best specs.
thank you

if nothing is wrong with yours, dont do anything. just build the one you already have

You could get a jdm type-s or the euro version of the h22a; it'd be about 30 more hp than the usdm h22. Maybe just get rid of the supercharger, go turbo, lower compression (motor work), crank the boost up and tune.

it could just be out of tune. what color is the smoke? black, white or blue.

do you want to stay boosted or go n/a??

if you want to keep the jrsc, build the bottom. if you want to go allmotor, just getting a good set of cams will put you up to type-s power. btw, your 2k has the same power as a jdm h22... and unless you have a hookup, buying a real type-s/euro-r is a waste of money.

These gentlemen are right but if you really feel the need to actually go and purchase a JDM H22 you should do it here. They offer kits that aren't half bad but the only true difference between USDM and JDM is the resistant to wear that the JDM has and the slight HP gain not alot more.
Heres the site again. http://www.totaljdm.com/?id=40320
