I have a 1990 240SX S13 with a KA24E engine, and a Turbo off an Eagle Talon TSI. Is it possible to modify the turbo to fit on to the KA24E? If so how much modification is needed and what needs to be done to ensure that it will work?

you would need a manual boost controller

internal wastegate(actuator) its probably already on your turbo

Turbo manifold for internal wastegate 330 bucks

downpipe $$??

Piping to throttle body from turbo $$??

set at 5psi boost, no fuel mods, no ignition mods, no computer mods, no intercooler. It will work

there are also some little things that need to be done, such as oil lines for the turbo and welding flanges for those on the oil pan, this can be done cheap if u do it yourself, parts for that are not expensive.

but what if i wanted to run more post say all 19psi is that possible either way what is an estimated 1/4 time for either 5psi or 19psi?

to run 19 youd need to rebuild the engine, and get all the extra parts, ie-intercooler. not as cheap, but definetly the better way to go unless you want it to be a daily driver. daily driver psi would prolly be around 10. and it would still be pretty damn fast.

14's-13's with good traction on about 5-7psi. 13's with the best traction, 14's with stock type of stuff.

okay well i know the block has been bored thirty over and sleeved at twenty over, i think they are titanium sleeves but i am not sure what other mods to the block, other than the turbo and piping, intercoller and all that shit do i need to do and how difficult is it going to be to manufacture a turbo plate to connect that TSI turbo to the headers?

you could probably have a shop do it for around 100 bucks. If you know a little about welding, a wire feed welder will do fine for a weld like that. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have been running this through my mind for about four months now, would like a T25 or T3 running 5 lbs at say .60 ar and .57 trim be safe for daily driver on a 130,000 mile engine?

do a compression check that will be your best source to find out if your engine can take the stress

the t-25 off of the tsi sucks its small and dosnt pull well after 5500rpmz dont take the turbo from the 95+tsi get it from the 1gen dsm(eclipse talons) they have a 14b turbo that has better flow and delivers more cfm then the t-25.. 14b is better then the t-25...

do you guys happen to know approx. measurements for the depth and width that i wll need to make that turbo plate to for the TSI i think it is a T3 or T4 to the KA24E headers, and do you happen to have any opinion on what metal i should make it out of i mean like stainless, iron or any of that ?

stainless is good. mild steel should work too. at lest thats what i hear.

as for running high boost, dont waste your time, your better off with bigger unit.. t3 or t4. or t88 :)

T88 would take a month of sundays to spool.

300ZXTT feul pump, injectors, MAF tube with stock 240sx sensor, perf intake filter, 300ZXTT feul filter, some sort of manifold from somewere T25 turbo or T3 of a Z31 or SR20, blitz SS blow off valve, Custom pipes (meinike said they'd do em) Oil lines from something, FMIC could probaly get a cheap one from people who are trying to get rid of their old ones for bigger ones (such as supra guys)

still researching little things like bigger throttle bodys to bolt on and stuff, and LSD stuff

also im getting 3" exhaust with no muffler or cat let out right infront of the rear wheel.

Going to run about 8-9psi and should be lookin at around 270hp to the rear wheel (s?) possibly realy high 12sec quarter im def gonna get good grippy tires. I was looking at the tires on an STI and they had like no tread just slashes pretty cool
