LS6 intake and heads installed

with the ls6 intake on and the heads on, it feels like ive gained
50-60 horse power. put 60 miles on the car today, no leaks
the mechanic done an excellent job!!! and the corvette
intake manifold cover looks great

no! wont give it a second thought, yeah the
guy brought the stuff to my house last night.
it took the mechanic 6 or 7 hours to do it.
and the borla exhaust i put on it has a deeper
tone to it now. im thinking about having it
dyno'ed sometime in the next couple of weeks
to see what she's puttin out.

very, very true. with those mods tho u could actually go after the camaro guys too, just make sure u don't run into a guy w/ a centrifical blower. friend of mine did that w/ his 67 malibu ss; it was a sad night for my friend...

i raced my buddy with the 01 ss camaro, i out run
him by 3-4 car lenths. he thought i had traded cars.
im glad i spent the money. the mustangs run and hid
after i wipped an 02 GT by 4-6 car lenths.......
what else could i do for more power?

well if you gave your car to me it would gain about ten to fifteen horsepower...

What do the heads and intake cost? Where's the best place to buy them? Time for some real mods.

i bought mine used. the heads were $800 and
the intake was $300 bought them from a friend
that was fixing up his camaro and he was behind
on his payments, almost lost it to the finance
company, so basically he got ripped off because
he was behind a couple of payments

only the ls1, if you want what he's doing then you want to go get an LT4 conversion. same concept, different motors...

so where can i get the lt4 parts?, but i dont have to change my whole engine into a corvette lt4 engine to do it right?

ive seen conversion kits at various sites online, sorry i dont remember off the top of my head. maybe jegs, its one of the sites that these guys always spit off when some asks for a site. anywho, the kit is just the heads, intake manifolds, and i think a cam. its a direct bolt on...

off the top of my head, yearone.com has the kit for 2700. i know that there are other sites that have it, gmperformance sells the kit. you might be able to go find yourself a junked corvette and pull everything out of it and refurbish the parts for cheaper than buying it new...
