power window motor

It's me again. This time the driver side power window will not go down.
I check the connector to the motor and it's reading 12 volts. I believe the motor is bad. This will be the third motor to be placed in the window in 2 1/2 years. I was told by a GM mechanic that the brushes were the problem with the motor. I have two questions.
1.) Where can I get a better motor for the window? The dealer wants 139.00 for this item.
2.) Is there something else going on with this window.
Any help would be grateful - I'm begining to think I made a bad decision buy American again never had this kind of trouble with the Japanese vehicle.

Is this the third time for the same problem on a 2002 Blazer?
I'd call the local dealer and start complaining about this, mentioning
the Federal Lemon Law (3 strikes/same problem, they're out). The other
alternative is to file a compaint with the NHSTA.org website. If
this isn't a warranty item, this is your best recourse, other than trying
the Chevy Customer Service Hotline(800-222-1020) and try to get to the Zone Manager for your area.
Good Luck,
Mike
