Greetings all!
I have a 90 civic dx with a b16a swap (recently purchased).
Shortly after I got it, the CV's started "clicking" when I would turn.
Then yesterday I was leaving my friends parking lot (which is angled)
and I hit the gas and let the clutch out, and there was a loud clunk
as soon as I hit the gas. Now the car will go into all the gears fine,
but it will not move.
What I think is they used the factory axels from the 90 civic, and did
not modify them as needed when doing the swap. which in turn would
eventually have the axel drop out of the tranny.
I am correct on this asumption? if that is what it needs how hard would that be to do it on the side of the road...
Thanks!!!

you could have just broke an axle - the clicking sound means the axle is worn out and needs to be replaced - you probably just snapped it.

ditto that. the stock axles wouldnt work either way..even if it was a ghetto job.. just replace the axle and move on :)
