Car wont idle when venting to atmosphere

How you fix this problem, and also runs weired at rpm between 2000-3000 but runs sweet when your to the floor lol. I can vent normal but sounds so much cooler to atmosphere lol

Try MAFt or a VPC. Oh yeah, or you could stop making your car into a whistle and save 400 bucks for the MAFt or 1200 bucks for the VPC. There's no way to vent cheaply.

i can vent mine without stalling or anything [runs rich between shifts] but i have a bunch of other mods too. check my car at the link in the bottom of the sig for my mods.

to vent it properly your only options are the VPC and MAFt.

I could manage venting if I tried, but I drive 3+ hours every day, so being that there is no benefit, I didn't look into it.

Venting=Ghey. Unless you have a MAFT or VPC then you car will run like shit. Thats the only way it works. You could buy 500.00 or more in parts to do it, or you could just hook it up the way it should be for free and have a good running car.

500 dollars for a sound? You should only worry about venting when it is needed for performance. if you want sound get a dog whistle, drill two small holes, and blow on it in between each shift. it makes the same sound.. nice and loud. and will cost 1.25

like i said i can do it, but like Joe, i don't unless i'm going to be in Hollywood or pulling up to a club, and even then it is only like that for 2 days at the most. but it does make me smile realllllly big to hear that [i catch myself pinging it on purpose... lol]

I can run mine vented all the time and it doesnt seem to have to much of an effect. but eventually you will notice a difference, might as well circulate, like BoostedSpyder said you can always run vented if you want to be noticed..it has to be one of the best sounds in the world:)
