Hello all,
I own a 1994 taurus and the brakes started squeaking so I changed the brake pads. Even though I change the pads it is still squeaking really bad. Is this common in Taurus' Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there.
When you changed brake pads, did you surface the rotors, or turn them? I recomend when doing a brake job, turning the rotors, and putting a non-directional finish on them. Any good machine shop should do this for you when turning your rotors. I the machine shop that turns the rotors does not know about a Non-Directional finish, go somewhere else. This should take care of your noise. I just bought rotors from Advance Auto, and they came with the Non-Directional finish already. Clean the rotors well with brake cleaner. You should be good to go. Good luck
