Ok, I bought the window crank removal tool..read the instructions. Sounds simple right. We'll two hours later the crank is still on the door panel and im pissed. I must be slow or this must be the wrong tool. Does anyone have any tips or pics that will help me out here. I really need some help. Thanks.

O.K. this might help.Take your tool and push it in behind the window crank.Make sure you get it between the window crank and the plastic washer that is behind the window crank. There are slots on the window crank that the tool slides into.Try going under the lever side first.Put your finger on the other side,if you don't the clip will fly out and you will never find it.Now push into the crank center, sometimes you will have to wiggle the tool to get it in the slots.Your finger should have stopped the clip and your done.Crank is off.If it didn't work you can place the tool between the crank and the washer and push in lightly on tool, while turning the crank. This will also find the slots.Remember to keep a finger on the other side. The clip will fly out if you don't.When you put the crank back on,just push the clip back onto the crank and then push crank onto the door.

ok so the clip is on the inside of the door, behind the panel? I see like a cusion square. I can't locate the clip. Also will a towel work or will the clip fly like...far? Thanks for the reply.

No the clip is on the crank. You can't see the clip, you have to feel for the grove with the tool.Make sure you get between the washer and crank. Also make sure your tool is good and straight(the teeth that you slide in the groove).
