Need more power for towing

I have a 3000lb boat that I tow with my 04 Trailblazer. What mods could I add to get better low end power and gas mileage? Any info would help thanks.

I pull a 3700 lb. camper with no problems....

MPG sucks, but that's the price we pay for having toys!!!
