Ac

Alrighty, I'm looking into reorganizing and redoing my dash, mainly moving all the AC componets to a new location ( undecided so far ).

Also, I'm looking at getting rid of the knobs for the AC and replacing them with something.. more now.. like Digital stuff... something electronic..

I've been looking and looking all over the net, and having found a single thing.. maybe I'm looking up the wrong thing, but can anyone point me in the right direction, or if even.. know what I am talking about?

Moving i have done. But actually changing the control mechanism. Well there are ways but it sucks i have only semi watched a process such as this. Semi because I moved and haven't checked back with my man to see if it worked. He started by calling Lexus and getting Plug diagrams asto what each wire does in the plug behind the actual unit they actually faxed him 6 pages of info. Thats as far as i know he got.

Past that i guess maybe not all functions would work hhmm. Like if you pushed a button to turn up fan speed compared to like a rheostat style or resistance style turn knob. It would no longer be controlled by varying current. The motor would hav to be told via bcm? I'm not real sure how these things work. But i think i'm onboard for finding out...
