please excuse the phrase, but has anyone ever seen a s13 240 hatchback with a targa top? me and my boy over at tk customs are seriously cutting out the middle section of my roof to turn the bitch targa. lol. it is going to be hott. look at the profile of a like 91 hatchback and right where that black plastic peice ends that says 240sx on it, is where the cuts are being made. i havent ever seen one with this done... at least nowhere around here. let me know what you think

Saw it in a forum gallery somewhere... it looked good, but nobody knows what it did to the chassis rigidity. (how bad it handled afterward)

I was thinking T-tops would be pretty cool too, but I can't afford it and don't wanna try on my own

when its out the chasis will be weak as balls, when its in you shouldn't lose too much though, I was always curious about this aswell, but I'll still with the sunroof on my rx7 :)

yeah, thats like a honda del sol. if you jack up one side with the top out and try to put it back in jacked up, you can't cuz the cars frame flexes.

T-Tops would be so Hot. When I first bought my 240 I was thinking about taking the roof of a salvaged 300zx with TTops (preferably a 300 that hadn't rolled over.=D ) and some how sticking it onto my 240. That idea hit every branch on the practical tree on it's way down though.
I wonder if some one could clip out the actual t-tops off of one and some how mix them together.. that would probably be really ugly though.

rigidity wouldnt be a problem if you reinforced it with a 2.5-3 inch thick roll cage. that would look pretty damn sweet with some tubes sticking out of the frame, some nice clean joints. i wish there was a drool smily
