installing lower tie bars on 94 civic

Hello,
I've searched high and low for this with no answer for these questions. I purchased 4 strut tie bars (front and rear, upper and lower) and have already installed the top ones.
1. Should they have been torqued? if so, how much? The upper bolts seemed quite loose when I removed them in the first place.

On the rear lower tie bar: the rear control arms have 2 big bolts where the tie bar is attached.
2. If I raise the rear of the car and loosen the bolts to install this piece, won't the whole arm just drop, which means the rear shocks would/might extend? That's what I'm afraid of, since it seems like EVERYTHING is attached to the arm, and the arm is being held in place by one bolt on each side. If they do drop, do you just push everything back into place?

On the front lower tie bar:
3. Where the heck does it go attached to? I can't find ANY pictures of an install on a 94 Civic.

I am getting KYB AGXs/Eibach Pro-Kit springs installed, along with alignment, but they're charging me an arm/leg to put on the tie-bars, so I'd thought I'd save a bit by putting them on before they touch my car.

Any help would be appreciated.
