ebay stuff against brand name?

I just wanted to see what all you guys think about ebay stuff. I'm talking like headers, intake, etc. For example I was thinking of buying some headers but i'm not sure what to get. I saw some on ebay for like $80 bucks ! compared to DC headers that are over $200. I just wanted to know if they would be just as good as DC or other brand name headers ?? same with an intake.

Well on the Intake you could buy one of those cheap intakes for 30-40 bux, then just replace the air filter with a K&N and still spend less than a 150 dollar or so AEM intake. The difference on the intake is the air filter, the rest is just metal piping. However if you live in California you might want to get say the AEM intake because it has a CARB number which makes it legal.

the 80 dollar header are going to be cheaply made knock offs of DC or greddy or whatever they usually are not worth the 80 to get them. Mostly go with stuff thats name brand on exhaust set ups, on the intake there are some intakes that are tuned for our cars but I just got a POS intake for the time being until the greddy stuff gets here. OH YA IT IS HEADER THERES ONLY ONE, HEADERS WOULD BE TWO OR A SET OF HEADERS. Alot of peps around here take defense to "headers"on 4 cyl hondas thought I could say it nicely before the flamage started.

Personally I'll probably stick more towards the brand names. 'You get what you pay for' is true sometimes, but who knows.

yea thats what I was thinking, I'll get a dc "header" and a cheap intake, and just get a better air filter.

Sounds good...are you gonna get short ram or cold air intake?
