my 85 535i

Have received a few reply from you gracious people and my husband agrees it could be the relays, We have a repair manual but its a cheap one and doesnt have the relays listed does anyone have a relay chart or schematic of same so we know which is which?

Go to www.alloembmwparts.com and look up your year car and make and then type in relay under search for part and it will bring up a picture of the fuel pump relay which might help you pin point it. jeff
