LAST TIME - sorry about all the questions, im just trying to get the best results.

My IDEA - since I have a 93' talon FWD motor w/ 42,000 on it (my car is a 97 gsx) can I just swap the 1g throttle body into mine, and also replace my stock cylinder heads with the talons?

The throttle body and cylinder head wouldnt cost me anything, all I would have to pay is parts.

IS THIS A GOOD IDEA? Or am I just wasting my time.

ALSO**
If those 2 swaps are possible and a good idea, what else can I do with the 93' engine? I mean - Is there any other swaps or changes that'll go onto my GSX from the TSI?

THANK YOU -

I THINK the TB is a direct swap.

for the TB you have to widen the opening of the 2g intake mani too...

Why don't you just swap complete engines.

Its a common swap for the TB's, but you will need to port the intake opening just a bit. The 1G head flows more stock but not enough to warrant swapping. If you decide to swap heads make sure the bolt holes are the right size. i am not exactly sure how it goes but one generation uses a 10 mm bolt and the other uses an 11 so you will need to get that straight. i would say just do a motor swap but the 1G motor is still a 7 bolt so there really is no benefit. Good luck.
