04 civic

hi i just bought a 04 civic lx. i want to buy a body kit, euro lights, some blue or red guages, and maybe some cheap stuff to add horsepower. where can i find some good deals on this stuff? thanks! :)

well I want like a body kit and maybe like some 18" chrome wheels with those light thingys on the one things. and I want some of those pretty blue or maybe purple headlights, and the matching lights that go like on the hood. oh yeah, and i want some altezzas, ya know the really clear ones. but like my boyfriend, he told me that I should like do stuff to the motor so i'm gonna like get an intake deal, and probably a muffler too. Like where can I find all these things guys? thanks! :)

Just wait for it. There are several parts out for 7th gen civics but not as much as 5th and 6th gens. 7th gens are "FAIRLY" new to the market. Maybe in a couple of months or years, there will be more options out.

i came accross a Octane R34 kit at infinity racing but the picture doesnt look like the Skyline R34 i wanted. is it the same?

the only body kit you could possibly get for the 04 are the factory skirts. maybe change the tail lights, not sure if the wiring would be the same cuz i know the 04 is different from previous years. you can black out your headlights or just clear out the amber, cant remember if it has amber. the only other thing you could do would be a spoiler and rims. for body modifications its very limited cuz the 04 Civic is really new to the market.

theres more stuff out there.. just got to look for it.. and somtimes you might want to look for stuff that fits 01-03 cause sometimes they might have it listed as that instead of 01-04

from what i know they are the same... but i think there might be slight differences.. i think the octane has a little indentation on the front bumper to put the license plate on.. i think?

yo dude whats up dont kno many 7th gens in AF with nice rides but urs is so i had a quick question off hand or maybe you kno some one..the grill insert you have on ur car its for an 01-03 not 04 is the 04 any different or do you think that will fit? ROBEARRACING said prolly not to me but i dont kno if i believe them.

haha.. its not an insert.. thats the whole front bumper.. the whole front bumper not only wraps around the front but also comes up and is the grill also... the insert for the grill is wire mess

if you want the inserts... i should have said this sooner.. the 01-03 inserts fit the 04 cause my neighbor did the same thing to his..

i have an 04 EX

the one he has says mugen on it but looks just like that before he put it in... he had to take the whole front end off then take off the grill and put new one in..... it took him about an hour tops...

yeah i bought the insert for my 02. you do have to take the bumper off to do so, but I have taken mine off so many times its second nature.

its strange how theres only i think like 6 screws?? that hold that big ass bumper on

sweet SF makes a turbo kit awesome! What are some good sites for other parts for my 04 Civic DX? I'm getting into the whole forced induction craze.. My friends are all pushing hardcore numbers in there Hondas.. i have one friend with a 2000 GSR with a revhard kit we are installing and tuning and its fast i also know a kid with a hatch with a turbo LS vtec running 341whp and he ran 12.5 with an open differential and a 2.0 60'.. good shit..

your not going to find cams for the new civics. I have been looking forever. You can have them custom made, or have a regrind done but thats not the greatest thing to do. You can get the sf kits from eddie at www.truehonda.com he also had the VAFC-II for a really good price a few weeks back.

no dude not cam gears just an SOHC cam they arent made but crower? i think its called makes regrinded where u like give them ur cam and they hook it up but i think its expensvie?

I should change that to spoon waste of money not bolt ons as you probably kno spoon makes a total of 0 things for 7th gen- what i really want is the spoon CF mirrors or even rip offs

I know exactly what i plan on doing with my DX.. i'm gonna start off by lowering it, some 16" rota wheels, and some suspention stiffening, then in yrs to come i'd like to drop in a k20a and call it a day with some bolt ons after that.. It's my daily driver so i wanna keep it reliable.. I have very big plans for my Cobra, but i have to pay off some debt first...

hey, by the way, does anyone know if my 7th gen DX has a governor in 5th gear? with 4 ppl in the car i max 4th at 115-117( gear limited) and 5th bogs down to 112.. does the same thing my cavy used to do.. cavy was governed at 108... Just wondering cause i know if the governor wasn't there she could do at least 120 in 5th.. only other thing i can think of is that fifth gear is shorter than 4th, but why would they do that?

the max you can hit is 115.

i did 123 in 5th gear traveking between cali and vegas... dont know to much about govening and wat not but that was with 2 people in the car..

I have an 03 civic lx... I wouldn't waste the money TRYING to make my car fast. The only thing I have done to my car is an injen intake because it makes the ride more enjoyable. You should do as I am doing and save your money to put a down payment on a fast car.

The fastest I can get before my car bogs down is 112.

yea i got all the bolt on crap i can buy for the car still slow but fun to drive!
