Replaced the coolant temp sensor twice on my 93 baby Blazer but my check gauge light still comes on. Can anyone help?

Did you replace the one on the side of the engine or the one near the thermostat housing? The gauge in the dash could be off on its reading or a problem with the wire.

the dash module that drives the 'check gauges' light reads the single wire CTS (ECT) - most likely located on the side of the motor in the head and it reads from the 3 wire oil pressure switch/analog driver on the back of the engine. A reading out of range on EITHER sender will cause the check gauges light to come on.

The one on the side of the engine. Thermostat seem's ok, heater is good. I was told it could be the cluster. Anyone hear that one before?

The cluster in my 96 K1500 isn't right, usually reads about 30 degrees cold when its warmed up, not worth the price of new cluster

if u can try and get a scanner hooked up to it and try and read what temp it is sayin if its right its probaly the dash if its wrong there is another prob
and just make sure that the cooling system is bled out proprely so there are no air bubbles in it
