91 Electrical Problem

I have a 91 Cherokee and every so often the speedometer does not work when I start up the car. I would guess that all of the gauges do not work, but it is tough to tell because I have 'idiot' gauges.
Sometimes the gagues work fine, other times it works.....so I don't think it is a fuse.

If its just your speedo then check your speedometer cable. Your speedo works completely independent of the other gauges because its mechanical so an electrical issue is not the problem with that.
