First Ticket

Well from the title you can all tell what it's about...
The other day i was turning left behind a cop, as I turn he gives me way and then hits the light, I pull over, roll down the window
Cop: Do you know why I pulled you over?
Me:No sir
Cop: I couldnt but help noticing your blue turn signals, you cant have them
Me:Since when is that a law here? I've had these blue turn signals for over almost 2 years
Cop:Well they've always been illegal
So he goes in the car, writes me up a ticket for 110$. He was pretty cool because he gave me 48hrs to change them and report them or I have to pay that 110. Now I've been street racing and doing crazy shit for 2 years and the first time I get pulled over is because of my signal lights :lol:
I wanna know what was your guys/gal first run in wih the cop about?

My first ticket was don't street race.

None...I obey the law.....

on the way to srt4 nationals at 3 am driving through south carolina i was going 80 in a 60...got a ticket for $200...i drove for 2 hours and got a ticket but my hubby drove the rest of the 15 hours at about 100 mph and got nothing! ....but thats my first ticket since i started driving...

Just got my first one at the start of spring break a few weeks ago. I was going 90 in a 65. But the lawyer got the judge to lower my speed so I can take defensive driving. It took me 6 years to get my first ticket.

Took me 2 weeks to get my first ticket, I've had too many since then.



I should slow down, but that'd be the easy way out ;)

I don't have a problem with the ticket I just found it quite funny that after all the crazy driving I've done, I get pulled over for the turn signals. At least it won't go on my record and I don't have to pay the ticket if I change the bulbs, which I plan on doing as soon as I get home

my first ticket was for a 55 in a 40. it got reduced to a failure to observe traffic device.

Had the car on the road in October. I've gone 60-80 on roads where I shouldn't be doing over 30. I seem to get lucky and am never speeding when there are cops up ahead. Lucky me...

Mine was wreckless driving after crashing my 1st car, Sebring JXI but I served 6 months probabtion and it was cleaned away. Haven't gotten anything since, even pulled n i'm w/ you on the streets! :D

My first ticket, was running a redlight, cause I had to take a piss really bad,a nd couldnt hold it, I got nabbed

So what happened? Pee in your pants or u told the cop, "I gotta piss, just write the ticket!"

my first and only ticket was in the spring of 96, on my way from cincy to mardi gras, i got nabbed going 75 in a 64 coming out of the mountains in tennesee... the thing that pissed me off, was up until he came onto my bumber, I had cars wizzing past me... which means they had to be passing him, but he still chose me. 85 bucks I believe for the ticket.

Damn that sucks dude...and the worst part is if you tell him about the other cars, it would most likely just egt him pissed and find another excuse to write you up

WTH kind of jacked up speed limit is 64? You must be from Canada. :)

my bad, I reversed the numbers... 74 in a 65... and if you read the post you quoted, you would have seen I was heading from Cincy (cincinnati) which is in the great state of OHIO " The Heartland of It All"

Ive been pulled over several times in three years of driving, once for an attempt to outrun a cop. Unsuccessful, haha... wonderful acting skills and an ability to talk myself out of trouble (honed at school) means ive somehow never had a ticket. No incidents for a while now, planning to keep it that way :D

1st ticket - failure to wear seat belt (NZ $150)
2nd ticket - sustained loss of traction (NZ $200 + 180 court costs :banghead: )

The other day I was driving on the highway doing 140 flying past this white car and then slowed down because I had to exit and then as I am that same white car fly's by me and I look over it's an undercover cop...so lucky, I almost had my second ticket in under a week

First ticket; 147 in a 90, while playing road tag. Just acted as humble as possilbe, got it down to 110 in a 90, $100 fine (compared to the ~$600 it could have been, it worked out well. The other guy was a bit on ass I guess and got $450).
Always act humble, and they usually will give you a break (except for my second ticket, 144 in an 80, newyears morning, driving drunk people home. Guy was tailgating us, sped up, he kept doing it, slowed way down to let him pass, he didnt, so basically was booten it, turned off the highway, and was then pulled over. Report said I was a victim of road rage even. Cop still gave the full ticket, but I got it thrown out :)

you know.... I mis the good old days of when I was stationed in MT.... and during the day, the speed limit was reasonable and prudent...... I remember going 112 (hit the limiter) all the way from the wyoming border to great falls..... I thinkI paid for 4 extra tanks of gas that trip ;)

140 Km/H...sorry for the misunderstanding. And no I did not have to pee, I just wanted to get home really quickly cuz I was tired as fuck, plus the wind in my face kept me awake :lol2:
