civic vs prelude

asuming that both were vtec's who would win

My money is on the Prelude.

but then of course you have driver error and weather or not its a civic si, weather or not one is 5speed and one is automatic, but if you are saying they are both the same tranny with no driver error my money is still on the lude.

There is more than a civic VTEC.

The civic SI 99-00 160 hp 1.6 L. Civic SI 03-04 2.0 160 hp. Civic Type R 185 hp 1.6. Civic Type R 03 2.0 200 hp.

The Prelude SH 200 hp will barely win against a civic Si, no matter what year. It would be a closer race between the 99 Si and the Prelude than against the newer one.

The Type Rs will take the Prelude.

The Performance Vtec is the Dohc Vtec, there are many vtec engines...

right but if he is talking baseline civic vs the lude i go for the lude, Now if he was talking about the R's then my mula would go to the civics.
