Air Intakes

I purchased a Air Intake from ebay and it looks good and all but it doesn't make any much sound if any. Is it cause it is cheap or just cause my exchaust is really loud. I'm thinking about getting a new one but don't know where to get one cheap that sound good. Can anyone help.

For one, intake are not usually THAT loud, and yes if you have loud exhuast you prob won't hear it. The only thing you a losing by buying an intake of ebay is the quality of the filter. Then again, you are prob only making 5hp more anyways.

why are you buying CHEAP parts for your car ? why do you want to continue buying CHEAP parts for your car ? Intakes arnt there to make your car sound good, they are there to increase air flow !Dont buy anymore cheap parts for your car !!!! If your gonna do something do it right and do some research on what parts are worth a shit !
