In about one month, I am going to get a dirt bike. I would rather prefer A honda four-stroke because there is no mixing oil and gasoline. I like in South Jersey and i will mainly be using this for ridding in the woods. However in two years i'm going to want a street leagal bike to ride full time. My friend has A honda Foreman Rubican. It's a 4x4 utility ATV but I wanted somthing different. i would rather get a honda because that was the first thing i have ever ridden and I have been very please with it's perforamance. I'm 14 years old and about 5'5. I thouhg a 150 would be good. i'm going to be needing a rough bike becuase there are no trails in my woods and the terrain is prety bumpy. So i will need a nice clean bike, Any ideas?

Why not get a Enduro bike, so that it can easily be setup for street later?

Honda doesnt really have a smaller streetlegal dirtbike. They have a XR650L, its a pretty big bike.

Kawasaki makes/made a KE100, a KL250, and a KLR250.

Suzuki makes/made a DR200SE, a DRZ250, a DR350SE, and a DRZ400S.

Yamaha makes/made a TW200, a XT225, and a XT350.

The yamaha enduro bikes are some of the best out there.. the DRZ400s shares the same motor as my LTZ but im not sure how it rides. I used to own a RM250 and they are not the best to ride on small trails and muddy sloppy terrain, you need space to open up the 2 stroke or you start fouling plugs, stick with the four stroke but dont go with somthing too heavy.. you will regret it when you start to hit jumps.

i would just buy a mid 90s 125 and then trade it off for a street bike

If this is your first bike, go small, and trade up later. Used dirt bikes hold their resale value well, so if you buy used, you should be able to resell it again later for almost the same money. The Honda XR 200 is a really good beginner bike, very easy to ride and quite capable.
They sold a dual purpose version for many years (XL 185) you might be able to find one.
