clutch pedal height

I have a 1996 Mustang GT, and have noticed that my clutch pedal is about 1 1/2 inches higher than my brake pedal. Any way to adjust this??? I have a friend who had a 96, and he said that his clutch and brake pedals were at the same height. Just curious if there is a way to adjust it back to like it should be without screwing up the way the clutch engages...

there is a ratchet adjustment for your clutch pedal (there is on a 95 anyway) right above your gas pedal ,but is adjusted all the way down is sill about an inch higher than the brake

go get an adjustable clutch cable, Steeda makes one. then you can adjust the overall lenghth of the cable. lengthen it some and then get in and press the pedal a few times.
