My 1998 Prelude VTEC has a automatic/sportshifter in it, about how much difference is it compared to a manual, i mean, does it put me at much as a disadvantage as an auto vs a manual would? please help me with this... thanks

You're better off with an automatic.

Thats just my opinion though...

Auto's still rock in drag racing not many good manual drivers out there these days to many kids.. Your fine.

I love my manual and swear by it. Better control through the corners.

And acceleration from 0-60mph is much slower compared to a manual one, too.

Sportshift was made to compensate for an automatic's poor shifting ability during drag. It's still no replacement for a good old manual tranny though.

I agree with aces. I love my manual. The thrill gunning it through the corners. The high Rpm's when downshifting. And the simple fact that u are in total control of the car. :smokin:

I Agree U Control When U Shift Up Or Down So Its A Big Plus. But If U Do Mostlu Crusin Then Ur Fine. With Manual U Can Rev Ur Engine To 4500 Rpm Let The Clutch Go And Ur Off With Automatic U Cant Really Do That Unless U Spend 800 Dollars On Strong Enough Axles But I Might Be Wrong. Ive Always Had Manual. So Plz No One Get Pissed Of And Start Talkin Shit Thaks
