Fuel pump/line

I had my fuel pump changed at 45,000 at a Blue Harbor service station. Apparantly they damaged the fuel line and rigged it back together. The other day the car wouldn't start. I took it in and almost spent $680 on a new fuel pump and then the true problem was diagnosed, which also costs close to $600 to fix. My hope is to have the dealership document the damage and to confront the service station. Any thoughts or suggestions?
