Alright, so after three months of heartache with out my car, I finally have it back with a new paint job, gear pin, intake cam, 2 valves, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and a shit load of exterior body parts.:p I am missing the stereo system that was stolen.:banghead: Now today I ordered the greddy evo2 after listening to reviews of greddy products by import2nr99, boosted spyder, and ashah. My question is how hard is it going to be to put it on. Is it just a bolt on? Do I need any welding? I am under the impression that all I have to do is take the old one off and bolt this up in its place and hang the flanges. Is that correct?

so sweet that you got your ride back!!! where are some new pics???

and what kind of downpipe/cat setup do you have? i just replaced from the turbo back, so i'm not sure about it bolting it straight up to the cat, although i'm pretty sure it may.

It's on a gs and the entire exhaust is stock. I got the catback for the evo2.

Well my evo exhaust bolted right up even with a new downpipe that took out the cat...you shouldn't have any problems, took me an hr just because its difficult to move under the vehicle when you don't have a lift to pick up the whole car, the sound is awesome you'll enjoy it good buy.

in that case it should bolt right up to the stock cat. make sure that you get headers/4-1 pipe in and a hi-flow cat [or no cat at all as in test pipe or a header/4-1 cat eliminator]. shouldn't thake long at all to do. if you are unsure i'm sure any exhaust shop or mechanic for that matter will install it for less than 40 bucks, it's just a couple of bolts...

Shops around CT are pretty expensive. Most shops where I live are usually like 60 or 70 dollars per hour.
I am planning on getting one of those cheap ebay headers and flexpipe because I am doing everything on my car and I don't have an extra $200 to throw around on something that has to come out if I get a turbo.

Also, I am noticing that my pedal gets stuck and doesn't want to go down until I apply more force on it. I thought it might be that it needs to get broken in more or it might be the pin for the gear. What do you guys think.

Just please don't get pacesetter, I got my OBX header for 180 shipped. I believe they are cheaper on now.. I got mine on ebay.

Is it your gas pedal. If so check your throttle cable.

Fuck pacesetter.

I'll check the throttle lines. I think I should add that I noticed the pedal the second I got it from the shop. Those assholes.

Does it feel like it is getting stuck when your not driving, just like sitting in the driveway

Just use lots of WD40/pbblaster when working on the exhaust and you should be good.

It doesn't do it when the car is off, but when the engine is running, it does do it in nuetral and when I pop it into gear and rev it.
