panel & front corner lights on when breaking

my panel and front corner lights come on when I step
on the brakes. is this normal on an 89 crx hf? or is my
wiring screwed up? I never made any modifications to
the wiring (just installed a new headlight bulb
yesterday).

obviously there is a wiring cross over somewhere, do your brake lights come on? or only when you turn the parking lights on.

never mind. fixed the problem by replacing another
[headlight] bulb. must of been defective.

What would a faulty headlight bulb have to do with your panel and corner lights coming on when you break. I would have thought it was a wiring crossover also.
