starting problems

Question:

My truck (88 ranger 2.9) runs fine all the time until it sits over night in the rain. Then it will not start until it dries out.

Motor turns and you can smell gas but engine will not fire over.


I will do some more investigation as soon as I can (and change plugs,wires,rotor, and cap) but I dont think they are the problem.

Any comments or direction would be appreciated.

wires and cap should solve you problem.
