Okay, I met this little cutie Friday night who took an immediate liking to me...

I find out from some friends that he is a skunk, and a total womanizer. So I've decided to "play the player"...

I have a plan all worked out on how I'm gonna "bust" him, and I'll keep you all apprised of how things are going!

:lol2: This, my friends, is gonna be FUN! :evillaugh

Well, it looks like someone leaked my devious little plan to him b/c he suddenly doesn't want to talk to me and he says that since someone else likes me, he won't step on any toes... :rolleyes:

Bugger!

I'll bet money that it was his skeezy ex-g/f that he hangs with... The biotch had the nerve to call me a naive fool just because she saw me kissing her ex!!! Oh, and her looks could have killed when I told her I met him Friday night after he'd already been out with her! :licker:

I'll see if I can't turn things around and use this all to my advantage, though :devil:

I tried that, "playing the player" once. It didn't work. He actually turned out to be a really nice guy and we're quite good friends right now. :)

Bugger things didn't work out for you. Before I met Alex I dated this one guy for a few weeks. There was more verbal abuse and chauvinism coming from him in few weeks than a whole season of Jerry Springer. In the past this would have really brought me down. But for some reason with him I just stood right up and let him know not every woman has to put up with that BS. He would criticize what I ate, make comments on my weight, and even try to tell me what to wear. He even told me at one point "some people like to give, some like to receive....I like to receive". You can fill in the blanks on what he was referring too :p Even on our first date a lot of red flags went up. But when he would knock me I just turned around and laid it right back into him. He was taken back, obvioulsy no other girl had told him "no" or go piss off and die. I kinda enjoyed it because I felt like God was letting me have a little revenge for all the other times I was hurt, and to teach this ass a lesson. But after he got mad one time and shoved me, I cut it off right there. Who knows what would have happened if I stayed with him.

But I usually can't date someone or make plans to mess around with them because with my luck I would get screwed twice as hard. However if someone starts messing with me I have no problem messing right back.

Time for an update:

The player still "likes" me a ton, but because my friend who also likes me asked me out, player's "bummed out". Now, granted, I'm a flirt. It's just me, so I'm still chillin out w/him but trying to downplay everything...

But here's the catch... Rick (the friend, now b/f--Thanks Dante! :D ) doesn't trust me around the player dude. And this has really bummed me out. Rick knows that I'm a flirt, and he doesn't get all defensive about me w/the other guys in our "group" but he threw a hissy fit when he saw me kissing the player that one night (before we were a couple), and now he's telling his friends to keep an eye on me when I'm around the player and he isn't around... :( I mean, Rick has known me for 2 years now, and I've never given him reason NOT to trust me. Now all of a sudden, b/c I kissed a guy 2 weeks ago when I was single, he's gonna be all weird about it.

Oh, and it gets better! :devil: I'm not supposed to know about him "watching" me. I went to get my gas tank filled, and it really coincidentally was where the player was working... so I went in and kept him company for a while. Nothing more, nothing less. Rick doesn't know about it, and I'm sure he'd flip his lid if he did know. Which only makes matters worse. I won't hide my friendship w/the player. He's too cute :silly2: But honestly, if he can't trust me, should I even stay in this relationship??? I am sick of being single... So saying I have a b/f is kinda a nice change of pace. But at the same time, if I dump Rick and were to go after the player, I have a suspicious feeling that I'd let myself get too emotionally involved and then I'd be the one getting hurt :( Oh golly gee. I love making trouble for myself! :bloated:

Hmmm...him not trusting you is an issue isn't it. I wouldn't want someone telling his friends to spy on you, and stuff. The player actually sounds like a nice guy.

What a dilema.....

That is a tough decision Tangie, but I’m with Spunkymonkey on this one. I would hate to think that my boyfriend was sending out people to spy on me. Relationships are built on trust and without that you’ve got nothing. At the end of the day though it is your decision and I say trust your gut instinct and go with that. Good luck with whichever one you go with. :)

Whatever you were doing BEFORE becoming a couple is your business...even if it was 2 weeks before he became your b/f. If he is gonna be that obsessive about "player" guy and send out friends to spy on you, I would probably (if it were me) reconsider being in a relationship with someone like that. Being single does stink at times, but being tied up with someone who doesn't respect you can be worse. At least when you are single you have more options and freedom to "play the field".

Let's turn this out into a play like format b/c using names like "the player" and "the b/f" just isn't working for me...

Rick = b/f and 2 year friend
Denny = player
George = "watcher"

Rick left our little hang out before I wanted to leave, so he gave me a little kiss goodbye (not unusual) and then left... apparantly, he told George to keep an eye on Denny and me at some point (unless Denny is now fabricating stories). We didn't do anything but just chill out and a tiny bit of flirting. Denny and I left at the same time about 15 minutes after Rick left. Later on that night I went out to get the cheapest gas, which really coincidentally was where Denny just started working. I went in to pay w/cash and found out that George told Denny about Rick's conversation. Denny and I just chilled and listened to music for a while and he kept saying things about how he wishes I didn't say yes to Rick and how everyone told [Denny] that I was already "taken." He's definately got the words to make a woman blush...

And then the story gets deeper!!!!!! :rolleyes: I really hurt my back teaching ice skating tonight, so even though I took several pain killers and iced my back, I tried to go out, and I didn't make it but 10 minutes, and I hardly made it home. Therefore I haven't gotten to tell Rick that I'm peeved that he doesn't even trust me to be in public with Denny let alone if Rick knew I chatted w/him ALONE!!! :( And then, I decided to call Denny on his cell, and I get his voicemail message.... He tells his GIRLFRIEND that he loves her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW PRECIOUS!!! :angryfire So now I'm even more peeved on top of being peeved and being in extreme pain... And to be more peeved than the above, the ex is acting up again b/c I told him that I don't love him like I used to... that now I only love him as a friend, and so he has to say that I treat him like shit.... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Jeez Tangie, what a mess, you poor thing. :( (and sorry to hear about your back. I hope it gets better soon).

As far as the other situation goes, I honestly don’t know what I’d do in that situation. Maybe I’d take a break from them all and see what happened. :(

Another *sad* update:

I also heard that my friend Rick was complaining about not getting laid in 4 mos. and saying that "she doesn't put out. That's how she is." Which did get slightly stretched (I just found this out) but so I dumped him and went out on a date with player. We went car shopping for him ;) It was a blast. So we kissed a few more times...

Then, in an attempt to save Rick some dignity, I chose to kinda lay off the PDA in our hangout... Player complains that I'm being all shady... :rolleyes: I told him that I'd save Rick some of his pride and not flaunt the fact that I'd basically dumped him for the player. I also told him that I'd rather save a 2-year friendship over a one month fling. He said, "I knew it! I knew you'd do this. You were leading me on!!! This is so unfair..." To which I told everyone that the reason I was so upset was because {player} was being juvenile and stupid about everything. This once more got taken out of hand, so now he won't even talk to me to resolve the issues, and it leaves me rather peeved all around. Not to mention that the player was a far better kisser, and MUCH better looking... I'm not usually so vain, but it's totally true. :o

So that was my weekend, and I am only happy b/c I finally got my belly button (naval) pierced!!!

A good update!!!

Once our little arcade hang out burned down, we've all been laying kinda low. Well, one of the player's friends (who is a friend of mine now) told me to steer clear. Not in so many words, but he had me guess the number of partners this player has had :eek: :apuke: I won't even go there!

So tonight all of the player's friends went out w/o him. And I finally got asked out by the friend (mentioned up above). Turns out, as the player's friend explained, that the whole deal with all the problems listed previously was due to some major rumor millage... So now that I'm all straightened out, I have a VALENTINE! :D
