Honda Civic? or VW????

hi, i am just ninteen and i wanna buy myself a car. i live in germany and i have max. 5000€.

i also wanna do some style tuning, but i will not get that much money in future, cause i just go to school.

so i cant tune a honda civic coupe to the end

so i think, now a VW polo is the right for me.

but i wanna know what you guys think about it

I like vw's better. I'm sure with that amount you could find a descent 199x Golf or Jetta with more options and horsepower than a Civic, and Civics tend to cost more.

If it did...it should be cheaper there than anywhere else in the world...and there are probably more options there. So VW maybe.

I like the styling of the VW gti. i have always respected the VW on the street and the track , i have seen them put down some nice numbers. but like you said you wont get a whole lot of money right now.

VWs such as the Jetta, Polo, Golf and other models are produced in Mexico and Brazil. Then they are shipped to Germany I believe...

These aren't bad looking cars.. the dual-headlamped fascias kind of look like a scaled down Mercedes/Lexus in my opinion :)

Volkswagen cars are probably the cars that have the most overall appealing desing. They are not the best looking but they never design an ugly car. A jetta, golf, passat and toureg all look good to me. Nice cars.

The only performance downsides to vw's are weight and suspension. Other than that I'd like to own a new one if they weren't so damn expensive.

Damn straight. I'd love to have a new R32, but it's too much money ($29-30K). I could just as easily get into a 350Z, Evo, or WRX STi; all of which make more power to start, and can be modded to keep up with or surpass the R32 in twisty stuff. That being said, the R32 is still a sweet little ride. What's my point? Not sure, aside from agreeing VW's are too damn expensive. :lol:

The car is decent, but for the price, it is excellent. DOHC D16Z5, it has been painted a nice blue, needs a battery, and some brake work, all the parts to fix it come with it. I have to check the KM on it. I'll post you some pics later today, along with more info for you.
