Try the same thing on a die-cast as you do on plastics...its the same principle usually.

For a maisto just alter the springs. Either put in new springs, chop the old ones, or install some washers to slam the wheels up into the wells.

or u could just take the acuall spring rite out. thats the way to lower the car the most i think the only problem is that the wheels most likely won't turn or move anymore becuz they will be up in the wheel wells

u can leave the springs, u just need to put them underneath the axle. i find that it makes the car even lower then with no springs

my friend has one of those all so. so he braught it to me. i took my dremel with a cut off wheel and looked at the the places where the floor touches the body. then i just started hacking away. after 30 mins of studying it, and 5 mins of cutting it, i got it lowered.
i will call him and see if i can get some pics of what i did. if i get those, i will post them here tomorrow

how do you lower hot wheels then, they don't have springs?

To lower a hot wheel.
1.) Get hot wheel and put it on the ground.
2.) Get a big ass rock.
3.) Lift the said big ass rock over your head.
4.) Drop the said rock on the hot wheel and try to miss the important toes.
5.) There your hot wheel is lower.
I don't know how to lower one. But that always worked for me.

Basicly all you need is a dremal, and once you open the car up you will see what you need to cut and sand...

Lowering one withouth springs is a little mor difficult.... Just try to find the points that are keeping the tire from getting into the wheel well and eliminate them with a dremel. You're prbly gonna have to be brutal, those 1:24s don't like to drop easy.
