c1500 4.3 to 5.7 swap

I just finished the v-6 to v-8 swap in an '89 C1500 Silverado. I dropped in a '67 327 with minimal trouble and mounted the 4.3 serpentine accessories & water pump (very easy) on the 327. Running the 5.7 TBI with good luck. Using '95 exhaust manifolds from a 5.0 the crossover pipe even fit. The radiator is working well, but I plan on putting the larger one in after I find a good shroud. Let me know if you have any questions.

I also have a good 4.3 for someone to rebuild for cheap.

So you had a 4.3 TBI to start with, right? Are you running your 4.3 computer and wiring harness just with a throttle body from a 5.7? THe reason I'm wondering is cause I switched to a 5.7 in my S10 with a 4.3 harness and 350 ECM and am having some troubles.

I'm using the 4.3 tbi harness, but couldn't get it to run with the 4.3 computer so I bought a used 350 computer at a junkyard. I turned the key and it fired right up and idled. I also got 350 injectors and built my tbi with those which added a lot of power and smoothed out the idle some more. A few other upgrades like a holley projection intake with egr(because the computer expects egr changes), 1" tbi spacer, and Comp Cams 252H flat tappet hyd cam (.425" lift). I used all of the sensors off of the 4.3 and a V-8 tbi distributor from Ebay.

Will the 350 swap mount for a s10 work on the c1500
