b18....b16 or k series....i need help

alright i purchased a 91 civic hatch for 700 bucks, i put about 3 gs into interior, exterior, exhaust and suspension, and i was planning on doin the engine last and now im saving up for one, i got a good amount saved up, but i wanted to go b16a, b18c or rsx type s motors./..i know the rsx in 5 gs with tranmission and being its so large its going to be expensive to put in, or will it not fit at all...the b16a does have some speed to it and is a very easy fit in my car.....but the b18 is much more powerful and only a lil bit more money, i gotta figure this out cuz i gotta know how much to save up...someone help me out!

IMO - B18 if you have the money. The K series has nice power, but I think it'd be to heavy and too much money and work - a B18 would swap in nice and it's got a lot better torque than a B16, so there is a little more potential you can get out of it. I've seen a pic of a K series in a 4G and it is so crammed in there is almost looks funky.

k series is lighter than b series dude.

anyways, 3gs will get you a nice b16,b18,gsr,b20 swap. first do one thing at a time, otherwise everything will be half assed.

i think i am gonna go for the b18 the money isnt the problem, im just looking for more options to performace parts, which honestly i think would be the gsr motor cuz with the rsx there will be little space to work with...how much u think the gsr motors run for i found one with 25 thousand miles and it came with the ac pump axles hydraulic clutch and power steering pump for 2...i dunno i need some help wit what to do wit my engine honestly i worked in a body shop for a year, taught myself a lot but never knew much about engines, im only 16 my car isnt ever registered yet ...its all good tho it will be in a week or so but n e way if anyone knows some good web site or anything for engine/trannys let me know!
