What do you do when you've got a workbench full of in-progress models? Start another.
Aoshima's GT Wing JZX90 Chaser 2.5 Tourer V. Built sans GT wing items. Color will be TS14 Black. Seats are SAS Bride Zeta II's. Wheels are 19" Koenig WRV's. No assembling yet, just lots of painting.

What's with the exhaust? It looks like it has a smaller muffler that dumps halfway down the car. I'm talking about the bit right above the N in GT WING.
Anwho, looks good. Looking forward to seeing what you've got in store for this.

Not sure what is up with the exhaust being like that. Tried to find some reference pics of the underside of a Chaser, but found nothing.
4 door sedans powered by the 1JZ-GTE are very cool. Chaser, Cresta, Mark II. I got kits of all of them.
I bought this kit at Best1Hobby about 5 months ago. They might still have some.
Completed the suspension.

I have a suggestion: How about making another exhaust end pipe and connect to that muffler to give the car twin exhaust outlets?

No reason, really. Just feel like the car looks better without them.

Hah! I have the same "problem" (seems like the best word to describe it, but i don't believe it myself)
Currently on my bench:
Revell Datsun 510
Revell BMW Z8
Tamiya R34 Skyline
Revell '63 Impala
Revell ITR
I need to finish those in the next month, lol, the skyline's been there for 2-3 months because the body's gold paint got f'ed up... maybe once 1 or 2 are finished, I can get to work on my JACCS Accord which has to be finished by June... not likely...
Before i completely jack your thread, great job on the car man... Japanese 4-Doors are so SEXY

the exhaust is like that because toyota used the lexus chassie and then redid the exhaust so that one muffler is capped off.they made more horsepower by doing that too.

Chasers are popular drift cars in Japan. They do come in a manual.
Final layer of paint was put on a few nights back. Interior is complete except for the C/F on the SAS seats. Pics of that soon.

Finally finished the seats. Putting CF on the back was a pain, even with the good tutorials I read. Seats are SAS Bride Zeta II. Belts are Modelers racing harness. CF is 1/43 scale SMS black/pewter.

Rest of the interior should be ready tomorrow.

kind of off topic but are you serious about that capped off muffler makes more horsepower?
