Does anyone have experience on replacing bulbs in the headlamp assembly? Can someone advise on how the take the assembly apart?

Does anybody have the service manual to this car, you know the dealer instructrions? They said that you have to take the entire front end of the car off to reach the headlight bulbs. Has anyone had any luck changing these d*mn things out??

It isn't difficult, just takes a while. You have to remove the grill and front bumper and a few other obvoius parts. If you are replacing a xenon bulb be careful to make sure you have the correct bulb before going through all that work. I haven't been able to find the right bulb for less than $200. Almost $400 at the dealer.

I'm facing the same problem, and the dealer wants over $200 for a service manual. I ordered the CD version of the manual on ebay for $15. I'll let you know. I tried but my big hands are poor tools for this task. Another thread says to remove the inner fender wells to give you room to work, and you will definitely need to remove the front bumper if you have HID headlights. Mine is in the shop now for the second $130 bulb replacement in 3 months, but the dealer now says that the bulb melted the headlight assembly, which will cost $411 to replace. I've registered a complaint with Nissan Consumer Affairs. Trading in my '98 Accord was a big mistake.
