The other day i took my battery out and when i put it back in, i accidently had the battery backwards. I hooked up the positive wire to the negative side and the other way around too. The car isnt running anyways, but is there anything i screwed up? thanks

i dont think so, nothing should have happened, especially if the car doesnt run anyway.

it can harm electronis because you are putting a positive voltage on a ground. And their are no fuses on the grounding points so you energived your frame with 12v

so what all would that do

so what all would that do
possibly blown the computer. you might have sent more than 5 volts to a reference voltage sensor, which would in turn fry it.

its hard to say their are somany discret components all over your car along with relays thay can burn up with the wrong voltage

I ended up selling the whole engine. Money and life issues. Right after I sold it, i got back on track though and now I am kicking myself in the @ss. I should've been patient and waited another month or so. But hey I'll get that chance again. I just have to take my time again.
