Need help with bogging problems

hey. my cousin has just recently did a 91 h22 engine swap into his 94 prelude. everything seems fine, but when the engine temp gets half way, it starts bogging. does anyone know why it does that?

what 91, has an h22?

The h22a's were not put into VTECs here in the states until '93. They weren't available anywhere worldwide (including Japan) before '92. They didn't exist.

In any case, check out your coolant and your radiator. Make sure all hoses are okay.

sorry about that. it was a JDM 91 h22 motor. its the one with the lower horsepower. thanks
