RECALL for Turn Signal Switch available

Hi.. Thanks to this forum..I phoned the GM dealership and found that there is a RECALL for the turn signal switch for my 2000 Grand Am. Had the car into the dealership this month and after several attempts; the manager advised me to disconnect the remote keyless entry because of the turn signal problem. I feel like I have been taken to the cleaners..once again....
