wheel on odyssey sheared off

i have a honda oddyssey (gokart one) and the rear wheel just sheared off when i was driving, and where you put the nuts in the wholes, it is all torn up, and it showed no signs of this before, does anyone know why this happened?

that's got what to do with "other motorsports"?
